The Oranges are the sweetest and best they have been in fifteen years. Note how the leaves are the dark green and shinny that indicated a healthy plant. The treatment was one quart of BioEffect 400 applied with a hose and an Ortho spray mixer The area treated is approximately 40 ft by 25 ft. We did not water but it is the rainy season and we had rain that made it unnecessary to irrigate the lawn.
The lawn is mowed every Monday. Nothing but our Bio Soil Stimulant (BioEffect 400) was added or used

The best time to apply BioEffect 400 is after planting and before the sprouts appear for new growth. For large acreage crops, the dosage rate is normally TWO to SIX GALLONS PER ACRE. The normal application is to mix the BioEffect 400 with the irrigation water. Soil that is rich in composted organic material requires less dosage than soil that have more un-composted organic material. A second dosage may be required toward the end of the growing season but several week prior to harvesting
Turf and existing plants may be treated the with the same basic dosage as used for new growth. The results of dosing with BioEffect 400 depends on the soil condition and all the other factors that effect plant growth. For existing Turf and rapid action, the first application should be about one Quart per 500 square feet. A gallon will treat about 2,000 square feet. If the soil is hard packed and devoid of organic material, we recommend a one time spike or increased dosage of up to twice the dosage. We recommend that comparative test be preformed to determine the best dosage for you particular soil and application. Over application generally does not produce increased results. However soil with large amounts of raw (un composted) organic material can be accelerated to finished compost with the increased use of a Bio Stimulant. CAUTION -- EXTREME OVER DOSAGE CAN RETARD OR KILL SOME PLANTS. The full strength BioEffect 400 will burn and kill most plants. | |
SOME SUGGESTED DOSAGESCereal Grains: Apply at a minimum 2 gallons per acre up to 6 gallons per acre. Best time for application for fall grain is in the fall watering before planting. Alfalfa: Apply a minimum of 2 gallons per acre up to 6 gallons per acre. For newly established alfalfa, if possible watering before planting, or watering in early vegetative stages in early spring. For established alfalfa, watering during early vegetative state or between the cuttings. Potatoes: Apply minimum of 2 gallons per acre initially up to 6 gallons per acre during the growing season. Trees & Vines: Apply two applications of 2 gallons per acre. Apply first application at initial bud-break. Apply second application one to two months later. If using drip irrigation, the injection point should follow the ratio of at least 1 part to 500 to 1,000 parts water. If using a sprinkler system, water with the same ratio. | |
How BioEffect 400 is Applied
|
BioEffect 400 can be applied directly through an irrigation system (center pivot, drip or flood) system (center pivot, drip or flood) BioEffect 400 can also be applied with treated animal wastewater, reclaimed water, or injected into liquid wastewater, reclaimed water, or injected into liquid manure from animal waste water lagoons. BioEffect 400 must be diluted for application. The dilution is determined the parameters of each application.
Recommended starting rate is 2 gal / acre up to a maximum
of 6 gal / acre depending on the crop and soil type. The application rate should be adjusting from experience.

Please keep in mind that an increased application rate may not result in improved crop production. Over application can be detrimental to the development of the desired bacterial colonies. Application
First application should be early in the season (pre-emergence = before plants sprout) with a follow-up application during the growth stage if necessary. In some situations, one application is all that is necessary. Test a designated area with a second application at mid growth cycle to determine if an additional application produces increased crop production.

Our Soil Stimulant will not improve crop production if the soil is deficient of organic matter for the bacteria to convert to plant nutrients. The other condition where improvement may not be significant is where the soil is very rich in in decaying organic matter and the bacterial colonization is strong.
